In addition, the STEM Club contributes to facilitate access of the low-income children and young people of Itacar\u00e9 to the new technologies and advanced sciences in an extracurricular environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\nAware of the importance of technology for current and future generations, we also have been offering free IT and programming classes, from basic to advanced, to the local community of Itacar\u00e9 since 2023. The aim is to reduce the knowledge gap as well as the economic gap for future generations. A sample of the topics being taught include the following: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, operating systems such as Windows and Linux, block coding and Arduino robotics. The target audience is high school students between the ages of 12 and 17.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-369-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-369-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-369-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-button panel-first-child\" data-index=\"3\"
