Falamos Portugu\u00eas but we teach english y espa\u00f1ol tambi\u00e9n<\/h3>\n

Supporting the sustainable development of Itacar\u00e9, we provide a great learning opportunity for children, young people and adults from low-income communities of Itacar\u00e9, offering English and Spanish classes free of charge. This way, the local population is able to acquire a higher level of education, as well as better job opportunities, since Itacar\u00e9 receives thousands of foreign tourists throughout the year, as well as being a multicultural city.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Internship as an ESL teacher (30h\/week)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To offer better opportunities and, consequently, have a greater positive impact on the sustainable development of the Itacar\u00e9 community, we offer an exclusive internship program within this project. Candidates have the chance to enhance their career through hands-on, in-depth experience working for an international non-profit organization!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your main tasks include:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Revise and improve the current English curriculum\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Organize and manage the English Language program\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support and supervise all English Teaching Volunteers<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead weekly meetings with the English Volunteer Staff\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Attend supervisors meetings<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Teach English to advanced classes<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support other programs when needed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\n

    This is what you bring with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Native or Excellent English\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Good command of Portuguese\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Team-work, leadership and good organizational skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Responsibility, commitment and social skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Be independent, motivated, creative and good in solving problems<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Open mind and Adaptability<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Preferably with teaching experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n
